Best Barcelona Instagram Spots
Nachdem ich bereits die besten Instagram Spots meines aktuellen Wohnortes Madrid, vorgestellt habe, dachte ich mir es wird mal Zeit, die Lieblingsstadt überhaupt vorzustellen: Barcelona! Ich habe dort eine Weile gewohnt und bin immer noch sehr regelmäßig in der katalanischen Hauptstadt, da die Familie meines Mannes dort wohnt. Daher möchte ich es mir natürlich nicht nehmen lassen, dir die besten Barcelona Instagram Spots vorzustellen.
After I already introduced the best Instagram spots of my current home town Madrid, I thought it is just about time to present also the ones of THE favorite city of all time: Barcelona! I used to live there as well and I am still frequently travelling to the Catalan capital, as the family of my husband lives there. That’s why I thought it would be a pretty good idea to show you the best Barcelona Instagram spots.
1. Catedral de Barcelona
Die wunderschöne gotische Kathedrale im Barri Gòtic. Ein wirklich sehr imposantes Bauwerk, sowohl von innen als auch von außen. Sie ist ein absolutes Muss, welches gesehen werden sollte und ist so etwas von ein Barcelona Instagram Spot!

2. Barri Gòtic
Das gotische Viertel, Barri Gòtic (auf Spanisch: Barrio Gótico), ist eins der vier Stadtteile, die die Altstadt von Barcelona bilden. Hinter mir siehst du die berühmte Pont del Bisbe, also eine Art Brücke, die unterhalb einen Schädel eingebaut bekommen hat. Eine mysteriöse Legende besagt, dass jeder, der unter der Brücke herläuft und zum Schädel hochschaut, einem bösen Zauber unterliegen wird.
The gothic quarter, Barri Gòtic (in Spanish: Barrio Gótico), is one of the four districts that builds historic downtown in Barcelona. Behind me you see the famous Pont del Bisbe, a bridge, that has a skull underneath. A legend says, that when you walk underneath and look up to it, a bad spell will hit you.

3. Platja de la Barceloneta
Der längste Strand Barcelonas und dementsprechend auch leider etwas überfüllt mit Touristen, nicht nur aufgrund der zentralen Lage. Denn dort findest du unzählige Bars und Restaurants, sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts geöffnet. Zudem ist der Sonnenuntergang dort einfach nur wunderschön und alleine deshalb schon hat es Platja de la Barceloneta auf die besten Barcelona Instagram Spots Liste geschafft!
The longest beach of Barcelona and also unfortunately the fullest one with tourists, not only due to the central location. Because you will finde there plenty of bars and restaurants, opened day and night. Furthermore the sunset there is simply beautiful and just for that reason already it made it on the best Barcelona Instagram spots list!

4. Casa Batlló
Ein architektonisches Prachtexemplar von Antoni Gaudí, sowohl von innen als auch außen. Wenn du große Menschenmengen vermeiden möchtest, empfehle ich dir entweder ganz früh morgens kurz nach der Öffnung, oder spätabends hinzugehen.
An architectural beauty by Antoni Gaudí, from the inside and outside. If you wanna avoid to many people, I strongly recommend you to go in the morning just after the opening or in the late evening. Otherwise it will be a bit difficult to enjoy this beautiful piece of art.

5. Sagrada Familía
Die wunderschöne Sagrada Família, ein weiteres imposantes Bauwerk von Antoni Gaudí, das niemals fertig zu werden scheint. Es ist ständig im Bau und soll angeblich im Jahre 2025 fertig werden. Wer’s glaubt… Spaß beiseite: Die Basilika gehört zu DEN Barcelona Instagram Spots schlechthin und muss natürlich unbedingt besucht werden!
The wonderful Sagrada Família, another impressive building by Antoni Gaudí, where the instruction work never seems finish. They say it will be finished in 2025. Phew, we will see about that. But joke aside: It is one of THE Barcelona Instagram spots and such a must see!

6. Park Güell
Einer der mit Abstand einzigartigsten und schönsten Parks, die ich gesehen habe. Auch hier, suprise suprise, war wieder Antoni Gaudí am Werk. Wichtig: bei den Tickets werden Zeitfenster gebucht, daher am besten rechtzeitig online kaufen damit es nicht ausverkauft ist.
One of the most unique and beautiful parks I have seen so far. Also again by, suprise suprise, Antoni Gaudí. Important: the tickets have to be booked for time frames, therefore it is best to book it not too late online to avoid that it is sold out.
7. Bunkers Del Carmel
Die beste Aussicht über Barcelona findest du ganz klar hier. Und keine Sorge: auf dem Bild sieht das etwas krasser aus als es wirklich ist. Denn ich habe Höhenangst und hätte mich sonst nicht darauf getraut.
The best view over Barcelona is without doubt here. And don’t worry: on the pic it looks worse than it actually is. I am scared of heights and would have never climbed there otherwise.

8. El Born
Mein Lieblingsstadteil in Barcelona. Hier gibt es nicht nur die besten Tapas-Bars, sondern auch viele schöne kleine und schmale Gassen, die dem Barrio das gewisse Etwas geben. Schlender einfach durch das charismatische El Born, wo du unglaublich viele Straßenkünstler und Maler vorfinden wirst. Lasse dich von der magischen Atmosphäre dort in den Bann ziehen!
My favorite district in Barcelona. Not only you will find the best tapas bars here, but also many beautiful small lanes which gives this area the certain something. Just walk along there through the charismatic El Born, you will find many street artists and painters there.
9. Mercat de la Boqueria
Der berühmte Markt an der Rambla. Im Sommer unglaublich überfüllt und etwas schwierig zu genießen, aber trotzdem einen Besuch Wert. Ich empfehle dir dort einen lecker und erfrischenden Frucht-Smoothie zu genießen, vor allem bei den heißen Temperaturen eine wahre Wohltat.
The famous market by the Rambla. During summer time incredibly overloaded and difficult to enjoy, but still worth a visit though. I recommend to enjoy there a delicious and refreshing fruit smoothie, which will be very comforting when it is hot outside.
